Why Paatsala?

Paatsala began with a simple idea: make reliable cannabis education easier to access.

As cannabis policy and opportunity begin to change across Nepal and the region, people need more than information. They need a place to learn the fundamentals, find reliable resources, ask questions and connect with others working in the field.

That is what Paatsala is being built to provide.

THE NAME

Paatsala. पातशाला.

Paatsala is a new word.

It combines पात (paat) — leaf — with पाठशाला (paathshala) — school.

We wanted a name rooted in the region and connected to learning. Something familiar, but new enough to become its own identity.

Paatsala became that name.

WHAT WE ARE BUILDING

Education. Resources. Network.

Paatsala begins with education, but it is designed to grow beyond courses.

EDUCATION
Learn the fundamentals freely. Continue into deeper areas of study as your interests develop.

RESOURCES
Find research, evidence, references and practical materials that support what you learn.

NETWORK
Connect with people who are learning, researching, growing, building and working across the cannabis field.

Knowledge should lead somewhere.

To better questions. Better decisions. Useful skills. New connections. And, where possible, opportunity.
